alright it is finally evening and it has been a rather calm day. we napped and did as much of nothing as we possibly could handle. hunny worked a wedding late this afternoon, and i painted while he was gone. started on the closet - hope to finish next week on the room. i also need to get that couch done. i think it will take me just three weeks - that is the time i have until mom and my brother are here.
i hope to get christmas lights up this weekend - think we will put some ice-cycles outside and then put the tree up early this next week.
i want to finish the trim in the bedroom and closet by wed so i can move the furniture that needs painted into the room. once that is finished i will pull the plastic off the floor, vacuum, maybe steam clean, and then set up the room. should finish by the weekend. THAT way i can have two weeks to work on the couch - hoping there will not be any snags, but trying to allow for them.
i am so pleased to have the living areas cleaned up and cleared out. now we have to find space for all the stuff that has been stacked in the other rooms. i don't think it will all fit in the guest room - not really - but i hope that a lot of it will.
also need to get the garage set up for sweetie. it is stinky that there is so much going on out there and no real place to do anything....
yesterday was wonderful. the food turned out great... we had two people join us. it was a lovely day.
